Why choose Dysport at Sanjiva

A refreshed look with natural movement.

The product is the same everywhere — the result comes from the injector. Dysport outcomes depend on understanding how the toxin spreads through tissue, then choosing the right muscle, depth, dose, and spacing for your face. At Sanjiva, the goal is not to erase expression — it is to soften the lines you dislike while keeping your face looking like you.

01

We Map Your Movement First

Before any injection, we study how your specific muscles pull — where lines actually form, how strong each muscle is, and how your brow and eyes move together. Placement follows your anatomy, not a one-size template.

02

We Account for How Dysport Spreads

Dysport diffuses a little more than other neuromodulators. Used well, that softens broad zones evenly; used carelessly, it can drift into the wrong muscle. We dose and space injection points so the spread works for your result — not against it.

03

Right Spot, Right Depth, Right Dose

The difference between “frozen” and “refreshed” is millimeters and units. We place product precisely to relax the lines you dislike while preserving the expression that makes you look like you.

The science

What Is Dysport and How Does It Work?

Dysport® is an injectable neuromodulator made with abobotulinumtoxinA. It temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles that contribute to dynamic wrinkles — the lines that form from repeated expressions such as frowning, raising your eyebrows, squinting, smiling, or clenching.

Dysport is commonly used for moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, but it can also be used in carefully selected areas such as forehead lines, crow’s feet, brow shaping, and — as off-label uses — neck bands and masseter-related jaw tension. Your provider will determine whether Dysport, Botox, or another option is best for your anatomy.

“A good Dysport result isn’t about how much you inject — it’s about understanding how the product spreads through the muscle and placing it in exactly the right spot. Get the location right and you relax the line you dislike while leaving the rest of the face free to move. That’s what looks natural.”

The skill behind the result

How Dysport Spreads — and Why Placement Decides Your Result

Every patient gets the same FDA-approved Dysport. What separates a natural result from a frozen or uneven one is not the product — it is the injector’s understanding of how the toxin behaves once it’s in the tissue.

After injection, Dysport doesn’t stay on a single point. It diffuses outward from the injection site through a small field of tissue before it binds to the nerve endings it relaxes. Dysport is known for spreading a little more readily than some other neuromodulators. That diffusion is a tool, not a flaw — in the right hands it relaxes a broad muscle smoothly and evenly; in the wrong hands it can drift into a muscle you wanted to keep active, dropping a brow or flattening a natural arch.

The right muscle

Each expression line is driven by a specific muscle. We target the muscle creating the line you dislike, while protecting the ones that keep your face expressive — the lift in your brow, the warmth in your smile.

The right depth

How deep the product is placed changes how it spreads. Superficial lines and deeper muscles call for different depths, so the effect lands where you want it and stays out of where you don’t.

The right dose & spacing

Strong muscles need more; delicate areas near the eyes need less. We space injection points to let Dysport’s natural diffusion blend the result evenly, rather than leaving treated and untreated patches side by side.

The right margins

Knowing how far Dysport travels means we keep a safe buffer around muscles that should stay active — the difference between a refreshed look and a heavy, surprised, or asymmetric one.

Transparent pricing

How Much Does Dysport Cost in Dallas?

Dysport is priced differently than Botox because Dysport units are not equivalent to Botox units. A common conversion is approximately 3 Dysport units to 1 Botox unit, but the best option depends on your treatment area and response.

Neck Bands

An off-label use that can relax visible platysmal bands in carefully selected patients.

Excessive Sweating

Dysport may help reduce excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis) in appropriate candidates. Your provider will confirm whether you are a fit.

Dysport and Botox wrinkle relaxer results in Dallas at Sanjiva Medical Spa

Botox vs Dysport

Which wrinkle relaxer is right for you?

Botox and Dysport are both neuromodulators that soften movement-related lines. Dysport tends to diffuse slightly more and may begin working a little sooner for some patients. Botox may be preferred for highly targeted areas. Neither is universally “better” — the right choice depends on your anatomy, goals, and history.

  • Dysport may be helpful for broader zones such as forehead or frown lines
  • Botox may be preferred for very precise, small-area correction
  • Unit numbers are different and cannot be compared 1:1
  • Sanjiva offers both, so recommendations are based on your face — not inventory

Your visit

What to Expect at Your Dysport Appointment

Consultation

Your provider evaluates facial movement, medical history, goals, and prior neurotoxin response before recommending Dysport units and areas.

Treatment

Dysport is placed with an ultra-fine needle into selected muscles. Most appointments are quick and require little to no downtime.

Aftercare

Avoid rubbing the area, intense exercise, heavy heat, and lying flat immediately after treatment as directed by your provider.

Follow-Up

Results are best assessed around two weeks. A follow-up may be recommended when appropriate.

Results timeline

When Dysport Starts Working

Day 1

Treatment

Quick visit with small injection points that typically fade quickly.

Days 2–3

Early onset

Some patients notice initial softening earlier than with other neurotoxins.

Days 7–14

Full effect

Best time to evaluate symmetry, movement, and overall result.

3–4 Months

Maintenance

Most patients maintain results with repeat treatments several times yearly.

Honest candidacy

Who Is a Good Candidate for Dysport?

Dysport may be a good fit if you…

  • Have frown lines, forehead lines, or crow’s feet from expression
  • Prefer a softer, natural-looking wrinkle relaxer result
  • Want a quick treatment with no major downtime
  • Have responded well to Dysport previously
  • Want a Galderma neuromodulator option

We may suggest another option if…

  • Your main concern is volume loss — filler or Sculptra may be better
  • Your main concern is texture or pigment — Halo, BBL, or microneedling may be better
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have certain neuromuscular conditions or a known allergy to botulinum toxin products

Dysport for men

Dysport for Men in Dallas

Men often choose Dysport to look less tired or stressed while keeping natural movement. Because men typically have stronger facial muscles, they often need different dosing and placement than women. Common areas include frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, and — as an off-label use — masseter-related jaw tension.

For men, the goal is usually a refreshed, confident appearance — not an arched brow or overly softened look. Your provider will customize placement to maintain masculine facial structure.
