BBL HERO is a non-invasive treatment that stimulates your skin with intense pulses of light. As you lay back on our treatment table, we will first apply a clear gel to your treatment areas which acts as a conductor for the light energy to absorb into your skin.

We will then apply the BBL HERO applicator to your target areas, stimulating your skin with intense pulses of light. This treatment is well tolerated. You should feel the sensation of a rubber band snapping against your skin as the light is hitting your treatment areas. This sensation resolves immediately. There is little to no downtime. Depending on your skin, you may experience temporary redness and slight swelling, but these side effects are mild and resolve quickly on their own in the hours following your treatment.

BBL HERO photofacial can treat any area of the body, including your face, neck, chest, arms, hands, back, belly, legs and buttocks. Anywhere you are looking to clear away uneven skin tone, small veins, redness or acne is ideal for a photofacial treatment.
Immediately following your photofacial, your treated skin may feel tight and appear red. This redness will subside in the hours following your session. Your side effects will depend on the concerns you are treating. For example, if you are targeting brown spots and freckles, they will first darken before flaking off in the week following your treatment. If you are treating redness or rosacea, your skin may turn darker red before it fades away. Small veins may also appear darker before gradually fading from view. Keep in mind that there is no downtime with a photofacial because it doesn’t break the skin. You can easily cover up any redness or side effects with makeup until your skin fully renews itself within the week.
You should start to notice clearer, more evenly toned skin within a week or two following your treatment. Since BBL HERO photofacial stimulates new collagen and elastin growth from deep within your skin, you should continue to notice improvements in the months following your treatment.
For your best results and benefits that last, we recommend undergoing a series of at least three photofacials to reach your desired goal initially. From that point on, we recommend undergoing periodic maintenance treatments to keep your skin renewal going strong.
